Step 1 - create a US account at Amazon.com
If you are a US citizen, skip to step 2.
If you are from outside of US, you will be able to make a purchase if you follow this tutorial.
- In order to make a purchase of digital goods from Amazon US, you will need to create a separate* US account and add a US billing address to your account. This address needs to be a valid US address, but nothing will be sent there and you can access your digital games through their website.
- You can generate such address using the website namegenerator.in. Make sure you select a state which doesn't impose extra tax - Alaska, Delaware or Columbia District will do just fine. You may also enter the address of the Embassy of your country in Washington.
- You will need to add a valid credit/debit card to your account and associate it with the US address you had just created.
*It is advised to create a seperate US account. However, if you already own a UK/DE/any other Amazon account, you can simply add a US address and temporarily change Country settings here [screen]. You can also adjust country settings whilst attempting to make a purchase [screen].
Step 2 - join free trials of Amazon Prime and Amazon Audible
The promotional credit of $10 will be granted to new members of Amazon Audible service. In order to apply for a free 90 day trial of Amazon Audible, you must be a member of another service - Amazon Prime.

Step 3 - e-mail confirmation with your $10 promotional credit
Once you've completed step 2, all you can do is wait for the e-mail confirming your $10 promotional credit. The wait may vary - from 2 minutes to a couple of hours (if you have less luck).
Promotional funds need to be used within 90 days.
Step 4 - choose your free (or heavily discounted) game :)
