기사 내용에 따르면 넷플릭스에 있는 모든 디즈니 컨텐츠들을 없애고
자체 스트리밍 서비스(디즈니 플러스)를 할 것이라고 하네요.
디즈니 플러스에는 마블 영화, 스타워즈 시리즈 등이 포함될 거라고 합니다.
경쟁이라는 게 나쁜 건 아니지만 개인적인 바람으론 하나로 통일했으면 좋겠어요..

와 넷플릭스에서 다 몰아봐야겠네요

오호.... 디즈니도 자체 스트리밍 서비스를 하는군요. 이를 통해서 더 양질의 드라마, 영화를 내줬으면 좋겠습니다. 갠적으론 넷플릭스가 혼자 독점하면서 캐스팅에만 예산을 많이 들인 질낮은 B급 드라마, 영화만 내놓는다고 생각했거든요. 저는 좋게 봅니다.

아마도 디즈니 소속의 디즈니, 마블, 루카스, 디즈니, 픽사 영화들'만'일 거에요. 넷플릭스 오리지날인 드라마 '디펜더스'는 그냥 있을 것 입니다. (하지만 결국 다 취소될 예정일 겁니다. 현재 아이언 피스트, 루크 케이지는 취소 확정, 퍼니셔는 잘 모르겠지만 취소일 겁니다. 데어데블 시즌 4도 아마 취소될 겁니다. 현재 제시카 존스 시즌 3는 예정은 되었는데... 솔직히 나올지는 모르겠네요.) 최소한 기존 제작된 것들을 볼 수는 있을 수 있습니다. 물론 디즈니에서 전부 다시 리셋하여 올리겠지만요...
개인적으로는 아마 디즈니의 포지션은 게임으로 보면 오리진 + 블리자드 (+ 스팀?) 포지션이 될 확률이 높을 것 같아요. 디즈니 자체 컨텐츠들과 그 동안 흡수한 ESPN(스포츠) + 루카스 필림/아트(스타워즈 외) + 마블 + 픽사 + ABC + 폭스 (+ 훌루) + ... 등의 막강한 라인업입니다. 그러면... 감히 대적하지 못하고, 대다수의 소규모들의 흡수나 합류 및 협력 등이 더 가속화되지 않을까 하네요. 좋은 점이라면... 혹시나 마블과의 관계와 현 한류의 영향을 보고 블리자드처럼 현지화를 더 빠르고 잘해주지 않을가 싶기도 하지만... 디즈니로 보면 아닐 수 있습니다.
또한, 마블만 보자면 훌루 오리지날 마블 드라마 '런어웨이즈'는 어벤저스 4 이후의 MCU 키드 라인업쪽으로 페이즈에 그대로 흡수될 가능성이 있어 보입니다. 폭스의 The Gifted 드라마는 아무래도 엑스맨 합류 청사진에 따라 리셋될 것 같아요.(영화 로건 컨셉을 어느 정도 따랐기에...) 에이전트 오브 쉴드(ABC)는 솔직히 모르겠습니다. 인휴먼스(ABC)는 엑스맨 합류로 버려지거나 리뉴얼해야 할 테고, 리전(FX)과 클록 앤 대거(Freeform)은 버릴것 같아요.
넷플릭스의 오리지날만으로는 벅찰 겁니다. 넷플릭스는 GOG + 스팀의 포지션을 잡아서, 먼저 진출한 한류 및 미국 외 일본, 중국, 동남아, 유럽, 인도, ... 등의 글로벌 컨텐츠(영화, 드라마, TV 쇼, 기타) 지원 및 개발로 발전할 가능성이 보이고, 개인적으로는 그것을 가장 바래봅니다...(렛츠고, 시간 탐험대 글로벌 넷플릭스 오리지날 등은 근사하지 않을까요?)만, 이것도... 아마 디즈니가 생각보다 훨씬 거대해지면 어찌될지 모르겠어요. (참, DC 코믹스는 ... 음...) DC와 협력하고, DC 혹은 그동안 비마블 히어로물인 미드 히어로스나 파워스 등의 스타일로 새로 히어로 오리지날을 만들면 어떨까 싶기도 하네요~ ^^
OTT와는 조금 다른, 아마존 프라임 및 트위치와 구글 유튜브, 그리고 중소적인 HBO 등의 움직임 또한 주목해야 할 것 같습니다. 또한 음악 스트리밍과 이북, 카툰/그래픽노블의 움직임 또한 마찬가지입니다.
2021~2년쯤 반 동탁(디즈니)연합...스러운 움직임이 있을지도요... ^^;
제가 마블과는 달리 디즈니적인 것들의 행보를 그리 썩 좋아하지 않아서... 아직은 넷플릭스의 버티기와 반격 또한 기대중입니다.

자사컨텐츠들을 찾는 고객들때문에 망할수는없을테고.....그럼 기존 넷플릭스와의 스트리밍계약에서 디즈니플러스쪽으로 갈타는곳들도 나오겠군요. 독점계약보다는 양쪽다 서비스하는컨텐츠가 많아야할텐데...ㅠㅠ
아 마블때문에 어쩔수없이 디즈니플러스도 구독해야할것같네요ㅠㅠ
스팀 오리진 유플레이 배틀넷 초기를 보는 것 같습니다.
디즈니니까 그래도 IP가 많아서 흥하긴 할 것 같아요.
이미 닌텐도만 봐도 핵심 IP의 중요도가 어마어마하다는게 느껴지죠.
